REVIEW: Afrodita Cosmetics COCONUT MILK nurturing body milk and cream shower gel

Hey Babes, this is my first ever review and I’m so excited because I’m going to talk about my favourite products right now – The COCONUT MILK nurturing body milk and cream shower gel by Afrodita Cosmetics.

I am in love with these two products because I’ve always been struggling to find the perfect body milk & shower gel for my skin. My skin is a bit sensitive and reacts differently to different shower gels and body lotions. It gets dry really quickly if the shower gel’s Ph is too far away from the neutral 7 and I get small spots ( I think I can call them spots haha) if the body lotions is highly scented. And I must say that these two products have caused me No problems!

The shower gel is of this creamy consistence even when you wash it off you still have that silky, creamy feeling on your skin. The scent is also beautiful!  It honestly smells like coconut milk and I was really impressed with it, because I expected a really strong over the top coconut scent that smells almost a bit artificial and chemical. But this one was really just amazing! But the most crucial for me was the fact that it didn’t make my skin dry, even when I didn’t use the body lotion after I showered. 

 

I paired this shower gel with the nurturing body milk out of the same collection and I just fell in love with it! Let me start with the scent – again I was really impressed because I expected this artificial coconut smell but instead it has this beautiful coconut smell, which again is mild so even if you use it over your whole body you won’t get a headache, which for my mother is crucial, because she always gets headaches from even the slightest scents. So if you hate strong scented body lotions this is the product you would want to buy.

The consistency of the boy milk is almost a bit yoghurt-like, which I like because it is not as runny as you would expect it to be. Also you only need the smallest amount to cover your whole leg so it lasts for weeks. I have it for three weeks now and my mother and I both use it and we still have almost half a bottle of it left. But the thing that made it awesome to me is that in the summer, when you tend to get a bit sweaty even during the night, you don’t get that sticky, syrupy feeling on your skin, which to me is a deal-breaker + the skin absorbs it so fast in like 5 minutes which I LOVE.

I would definitely recommend these two products if you hate feeling sticky after you use a body lotion, if you hate strong scents, if you love creamy shower gels and if you hate glitter inside of your products (they are not glittery!). I personally love these two products and I highly recommend you to try them out, because they are absolutely lovely!
